Job Description:
As a Market Operations Associate, you will be responsible for monitoring Quantiq’s live trading environment. You’ll be on the front lines of our overnight operations, supporting our Asian and/or European markets. Your work will have a direct impact on trading outcomes; ensuring performance stability and providing visibility into how our trading systems behave in real-world markets. Job Responsibilities:
-Monitor markets and news flow to identify potential impacts to algorithm operations
-Perform daily P&L reconciliation
-Document procedures and production issues
-Manage regulatory and exchange requirements
-Provide market analysis and metrics for measuring and limiting risk
-Make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
-Communicate with the tech team to improve the algorithms and trading systems
Qualifications:
-Exceptional organization and attention to detail
-Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
-Reliable and flexible team player
-Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and systems
-Comfortable analyzing financial data and communicating findings
Preferred Qualifications:
-3+ years experience in the financial services or comparable detail oriented environment
-Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Economics, and Engineering)
-Experience with Bloomberg and Excel
-Understanding of financial markets, derivatives trading, or exchanges
